I never thought of this, but apparently the blizzard bowl played this week at Buffalo has had an interesting affect on next week: [Denver can’t scout tape of Indianapolis](http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000892358/article/blizzard-bowl-film-of-colts-disrupts-broncos-game-prep) this week because it’s all whiteout white-uniforms-on-white-snow-with-white-falling-snow. Completely unwatchable. Dunno if it’ll make any difference, given the teams involved, but it must certainly suck if you can’t do your customary prep for your opponents. ---

After looking at the standings again, at 7-6 the Pack has a long way to go to sniff the wildcard. Heck, both wildcards might come out of the NFC South. ---

[This article from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel lays it out.](https://www.jsonline.com/story/communities/lake-country/sports/2017/12/11/who-am-supposed-cheer-get-packers-into-playoffs/940211001/) Their most straightforward path in appears to be beating out Carolina for a wild card berth, which would happen if the Panthers lose one of their other two remaining games. ---
