Yes, you had more accurate information 12 hours after the initial reports came in. The biggest difference being three months extra recovery.

Is strength of schedule or head to head matchup the first tiebreaker when slotting draft picks?
Saw a source saying SOS is first and you don’t get down to head to head unless that’s tied… seems counterintuitive to me though if you’re trying to determine which team was weaker, if one beat the other. I mean, statistically, SoS may genuinely be important since it can be less flukey than a head to head matchup, but the NFL almost never accounts for this sort of thing in tiebreaker rules.

Nope. We’re all just letting them do the dirty work. You’re the one who tossed a mini hissy fit over a non-issue.
At any rate, strength of schedule does figure on draft picks. If Indy wins another one, they’ll need help to hold onto that top spot.

I think so, but I know it isn’t the same as determining final place. The Cowboy and Redskins both finished 6-10 last year, but Dallas not only was 3rd in the NFC East, they drafted before the Redskins (in the first round, before the 6-10 teams cycled through the later rounds).

Back to the draft picks, ESPN just [posted](http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/50957/2012-nfl-draft-order-as-week-16-nears-end) the first 22 draft picks, as they currently stand at Week 16.
Of course, there may be a few changes up or down depending on how the final week goes.
And yes, strength of schedule (or weakness, I guess, in this case) is the tie-breaker.
So, if Indy wins again, they need the Rams to also win to hold onto the top pick. Otherwise, it goes to St Louis and Indy gets #2.
I don’t see the Rams drafting a QB (should they get #1), but they’d totally sell that pick to a QB desperate team.

Saints up 21-10 at the half. Brees has 2 TD, and one INT that was not his fault…deflected ball. He needs about 75 yards to break Marino’s record.

How crazy is it that he threw for 5000 yards and isn’t even having the best passing season?

Brees seems to be getting ignored in the MVP discussion in favor if Rodgers, which I don’t totally understand. They are both great. Rodgers plays for a slightly better team. Brees is putting up better numbers.
