Yuck!

Bronco’s lineman with a foot pointing the wrong direction. One of the running backs looked like he was going to throw up.

Good choice putting this fabulous and interesting Atlanta vs TB game on TV in Las Vegas, NFL. As you know, we’re all natural Atlanta fans here. Or maybe TB fans. I have no fucking idea what you were thinking. Please don’t show us the competitive games that actually have playoff implications, it would make it harder to take our afternoon nap.

Thanks!

The only other [game available on Fox](http://the506.com/nflmaps/2011/wk17.html)right now is Seattle vs. Arizona, so you can’t really complain about that one.

Matt Flynn baby! Helluva tryout for next year. Some team could have a real find in him as a starter next year as a free agent. Packers get a shootout win while resting about a third of their starters. That defense looked horrible though, which is not what you want to see before the playoofs start.

Agreed on both points. Flynn was fab, and the defense really looks pathetic.

Somebody already updated Flynn’s Wikipedia page:

Kind of makes you wonder whether Favre was right, and Rodgers is actually underachieving…

I’m really glad my wife is monopolizing the TV today, because ew. The team obviously massively overachieved last year, leading to unrealistic expectations, and it looks like Raheem Morris is going to take the rap for it.

He shouldn’t, though, because this is pretty much where the youngest, lowest-paid team in the league is expected to be.

The real question is whether Josh Freeman is having a “sophomore” slump or not.

Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck’s values just took a huge hit.

Undoubtedly. He played pretty well in his previous opportunities, but I suspect this nailed it for him. Someone’s going to offer him a fat contract to start at QB next season.

Yeah, I wasn’t thinking of that. I should be mad at the SD/OAK game instead of… any other AFC game.

I think the NFL thinks Las Vegas is a Chargers town.

Raiders just broke the all time records for penalties and penalty yards in a season.

Tampa down 42-0 23 minutes into the game. Trying to send a message to get the coach fired?

Atlanta should keep pouring it on. I always like to see unusual things happen. They won’t, though.

Holy shit. 0-42 with 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter of the TB/ATL game??? Is that a record or what?

🙂 That was my assumption as well. It was the 1998 Chiefs.

Looks like the record for most points in a half is 49. They’re 20 points away from most points in a game since the merger.

The last three weeks it looks like NFL defenses are getting a handle on how to contain Tebow. It’ll be really interesting to see how he trains for next season.
MUFF! Big break for the Broncos!

I felt like the Lions were jobbed (to use a pro wrestling term) out a win by the refs today. Young caught the TD, which was inexplicably called an incomplete by the side judge. Schwartz was out of challenges due to two other bad calls in the first half. The second challenge should have been overturned, as the ball carrier was down already. I have no idea how the officiating was THAT bad in a game.

On the other hand, could the Lions try playing a little defense? Matt Flynn just threw for 6000 yards on you, and you have to play the Saints in NO next week. Yeesh…
