Any insights on Chip Kelly’s thinking? Did he think it’s better to have one play to score a touchdown, than making SD kick from ten yards farther away and probably going to OT? ---

Don’t believe I’ve ever seen a kicker have 4 attempts on a FG before. That was a far more dramatic win than I like to see the Texans require. ---

Buccaneers are getting ducked by the refs again. Helmet to helmet calls on tackles when receivers present nothing else to hit. Also getting fucked by our own dumb plays though. ---

Odd play in the Whiners/PEDhawks game. A bunch of Seattle players just stood up thanks to a whistle (not an official, but a fan). The ball was snapped, and the punt blocked because some of the Sea Hawks weren’t playing. Weird. ---

I blasted through most of the early game on Fox on DVR in like a half hour. The Packers were assraping the Redskins so bad it almost looked like the Broncos against the Giants, so Fox cut away to the end of the Cowboys/Chiefs and then after that the Bill/Panthers. Those I actually watched. In all three games, during the Fox broadcast I could hear what sounded like a cell phone ring tone every 3 seconds. This went on for over an hour straight, consistently, every 3 seconds. I must have heard it over a thousand times. By the time I got through the broadcast I wanted to rip out my own ear drums with a can opener. Did anyone else hear it? If so, (and it’s not just me going literally insane,) does anyone know what it was? ---

Heh, the Giants were embarassingly pathetic, for sure, but they were on CBS. EDIT: To clarify, I clearly heard it throughout the 3rd quarter of Packers/Redskins, the last half hour of Cowboys/Chiefs, then the final 5 minutes of Bill/Panthers. Every 3 seconds, like clockwork.
