SenorBeef usually posts this, and I’ve waited for him to, but it’s a half hour until kickoff(s), so here it is. I don’t know where he gets the game schedule with the odds and such so I’ll leave that to someone else. All I know is that it’s time for the Bengals to beat the Bills and step back into the AFCN divisional race, which is funny as every team in the division has an element of suck so far this season. The Browns suck, the Bengals are on life support (but look vastly improved on offense under their new o-coordinator over two games), the Ravens are pretty shitty and the Stealers look utterly beatable. So fire up the tube, grab some nachos, some suds and GAME ON WAYNE! ---

The Bears have the Monday night game this week, so naturally Chicago TV gets the two lousiest games on the schedule; Panthers at Lions, and Jaguars at Steelers. ---

Huh. I think I just saw the first fake flea flicker I’ve ever seen. Crowell took the ball, ran to the line, turned around and faked a toss, then ran for 20 yards. It was either a fake flea flicker, or intended to be a real flea flicker but then Crowell saw there was pressure behind the line and decided to cancel it and just run. Either way, really unusual. ---

The Carolina Panthers are an easy team to hate. Cam Newton is a first class jerk, of course, but they’ve been playing lousy football today. 7 penalties already. I hope the Lions do a grade A ass kicking of these clowns. ---

Browns can’t get out of their own way, it’s actually pretty comical. They’re dominating the Jets on defense really hard. Should be up 17-0. But two turnovers inside the 5 and a missed FG for a 0-0 instead. Still haven’t had a lead this year - almost halftime in their 5th game. ---

Just missed the best chance a game has to end in a 0-0 tie. Jets kicked a 57 yard FG. Jets have 67 yards of offense. Browns defense is crushing them. Browns offense between the 20s is good enough - but a mandatory turnover every time they’re within 10 yards of the goal. Jets will win 3-0 with under 100 yards of offense. That’s my prediction. ---

I’ll go with 3-2, still the strangest football score I’ve seen. Auburn beat Mississippi State by that score back in 2008. ---

No fair. Browns benched Kizer and the offense came to life. My prediction didn’t account for that. Now it can be 20-3 Cleveland. Jets have 9 rushing yards. Defense is dominating. ---

A dallas DB just held Jordy Nelson’s jersey for 30 yards down the field, including when the ball sailed over his head, but somehow they got a holding 5 yard penalty instead of pass interference. ---
