Meh. Kuechly’s explanation smells. He claims he didn’t know who was grabbing him but you can see that the official is within his field of view in the picture in the linked article. I didn’t really think an ejection was warranted, though.

I watched it happen on TV. The ref is really behind him and should know better than to grab someone from behind coming out of a scrum.
