So far my pre-season thoughts on the Panthers aren’t too far off the mark. They’re coming together and if they can be a little more consistent they might make a little noise. The Bucs are a mess, but unless they’ve completely quit on Schiano this could be a tricky game. Man, everyone who does not have to be in downtown St. Louis on Monday evening should be very very relieved. This has to be some sort of logistical nightmare, a so-so NFL game and WS game 5 starting within 40 minutes of each other. I would guess the Seahawks will benefit from reduced turnout, not that they need that much help in the first place. ---

Both these guys made me smile. The first guy was hilarious, he was really impressed Cam shared a ball with a ‘twin’ in the stands and kept mouthing [“Wow!”](https://dumpyourphoto.com/photo/9SlzD9Bx2K). [This](https://dumpyourphoto.com/photo/c2VZclfzgQ) needs no explanation. ---

Washington has lost one safety to suspension and another to injury. I suspect that Peyton Manning will be throwing the ball almost unimpeded. ---
