Bengals 17, Ravens 7. Ravens didn’t convert a third down until 2:30 left in the game. This Bengals team is playing physical!

If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, the Packers are seriously fucking insane. Aaron Rodgers needs to diagnose plays and throw the ball quicker. MM needs to learn to RUN THE FUCKING BALL MORE and call quicker developing pass plays. The defense needs to learn to get a pass rush and quit taking penalties. And special teams needs to stop giving up huge chunks of yards.

It’s the same goddamn thing every fucking game. I think that is the most frustrating part of this year. We know what is going wrong, but nothing seems to be done about it.

Bah.

What a shocking first half in the Panthers-Saints game! Panthers’ D is doing a great job against the vaunted Saints attack. Go Panthers!

So true, except that at this moment I am afraid they will fulfill my description of them as “the Stephen King of football” - able to start out strong, create a good story, and then fall the hell apart at the end. I hope they prove me wrong!

Now every team has won at least one game. The Lions are back in the hunt for the No. 1 draft choice again.

Why, oh why did they try to become a downfield throwing team? What are they thinking??

This would be my point, in its entirety. The Stephen King of football. GRRRRRR… it is painful to be a Panthers fan, and has been for a while now.

Man, they just can’t catch a break, can they? From the little I’ve seen this season, it’s not like they’re getting completely blown out of the water, just that they can almost but not quite get it together.

The Cardinals win on top of a 49ers loss. Cards back in the playoffs? The same place where we can shock the world?

We can thank Ford that we at least GET one game on TV. Today’s game wasn’t blacked out. Thanks, Seattle. Also, we got crushed. Thanks, Seattle.

They have to go through Foxboro first. In a surprise move in the wake of the Patriots win over Miami, Bill Belichek announced the team would be swapping places with the Carolina Panthers.

That’s putting it mildly. They’re not as bad as they were last year, but they’re still really REALLY bad. They aren’t talented, save for a few (maybe two?) positions.

You’re right, of course, I just guess I feel really sorry for their fans, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt 🙂

The 49ers are actually a terrible team again this year.

Although, today was the kind of game Shaun Hill manages to win while looking bad. As opposed to Alex Smith, who manages to look good for a few plays a game while turning the ball over every other play.

How many times are they going to bring back Smith to check if he is still a bust? I can save them the time: he still is.

So did anyone see Ochocinco holding a dollar (literally, a $1 bill) while the refs were reviewing whether or not he had a catch? I noticed it immediately, and my thought was “Damn, that’s hilarious. He’s going to get a massive fine for it.”

I saw that. It was pretty funny. But one of his feet clearly wasn’t completely in bounds, the refs got it right. Great try though.
