Shurmur’s playcalling is so awful. Why the hell do you run on 1st and 10 from the opposing 20 with 40 seconds left on the clock and no time outs? Cost the team 3 shots at the end zone there. Ended up with 6 seconds on third down and 12ish and then just kicks the FG there instead of taking one quick shot at it before the field goal. Such basic mistakes that no 12 year old Madden player would make. ---

Woops, it was actually worse than that. Would’ve been 1st and goal with 30 seconds left without the random HB draw, and it was still first and goal with 6 seconds left when he called the FG instead of taking one shot at the end zone. This is what happens when you hire the coordinator of one of the worst offenses in the league to be your head coach, then set up a retarded convoluted system by which the OC passes him 3-4 plays that he decides on before every snap, making sure that your calls are always late and stupid. ---

Touchdown. Wait, no, illegal formation. 3rd and 11 from the 14ish yard line. Just threw a TD into the end zone. Time to… run off tackle. This is some quality coaching. It is mysterious that the Browns are up with 5 FGs. What a weird game. Browns could be a winning team this year with a real coach. ---

I’ve never been so annoyed by a game in my life. I wish I hadn’t watched it. Shurmur annoyed me, Weeden annoyed me, the playcalling annoyed me, the defense annoyed me, Jeff Triplette annoyed me, even CBS annoyed me. I’M NOT HAVING FUN, YOU GUYS! ---

Panthers looked solid today. Defense looked much better. Luke Kuechly can play. He is fun to watch. LB may not have been their biggest need, but with Beason going on IR two seasons in a row it looks like a better and better pick. ---

Not usually one to complain about the refs, but it is absolutely Steelers 7, Refs 7 right now. Horrible PI call…they stop them, then an equally horrible personal foul call. Awful. ---

We all feel for the New York metro region, but if handing them the game will make them feel better, just let us know. I’d rather that the Steelers players could leave the field so as to not risk injury. ---
