Yes, and the LoB also got really good at doing it in such a way that the officials couldn’t easily see it, so they didn’t get called on it a vast majority of the time. Trying to see what you can get away with (holds, pass interference, moving a split second before the snap, and so on) is basically part of football. Receivers also try to get away with OPI by being subtle too. I don’t even get mad about missed calls unless they’re blatant.
