I’m pretty sure 800+ is quite easily an all-time record. I know 621 is a record for the 1/2 QB era because I went back and checked and Oak’s 473 a couple weeks ago was a new record itself. ---

I’m an idiot, Parts II & III: I saw the Yardage Pool Reminder in my inbox but didn’t read it: I was busy all day, so I spent 5 minutes making picks on my phone while out doing stuff: I just forgot that I’d made picks early in the week (probably because I always put it off until the last minute). Part III is that I had it in my head that this was Week 8, so to save time on my phone I just googled “week 8 matchups” so I could save myself a click-through. This would explain why I picked Frank Gore (who already played Thursday), and Demaryius Thomas (who’s on a bye), and Jay Cutler (who plays the lousy Panthers secondary NEXT week). So, yeah, if it’s no problem we can just stick with my original picks (I haven’t even checked to see how anyone did yet). And I’ll pick a WR from tomorrow night’s game in a bit to make up for LAST week’s screwup. ---
