You know, here’s as good a place as any: I’m not digging these Thursday night games, even now that I’m finally getting NFL Network here in NY. Mostly for selfish reason, I admit (basically it’s a constant fantasy complication), but also I think they’re pushing the players (and coaches) to their limits with the short week, and the quality of the games tends to suffer. AFAICT, they don’t even make an effort to have teams play the games coming off a bye week. (Yes, you’d have to make sure both teams were coming off the bye, so you couldn’t do it every week I imagine, but still.) Whatever happened to those Saturday games over the last 4-5 weeks of the season, once CFB wrapped up? \*Those \*I liked. ---

Wow, almost no one ran the ball well this week, and except for Shonn Greene, everyone who did had a bad matchup. Consequently, I posted a 17 at RB but lost very little ground. Looking at the scoreboard on [espn.com](http://espn.com), the top RBs per team so far this week have rushed for: 22, 91\*, 70, 33, 62, 56, 76, 17, 25, 161+, 70, 22, 40, 76, 93@, 63, 88, 70, 34, 41, 116$, 36, 79, 47, 65, 47. That’s an average of 61.5 (compared to last week’s 77.8). OF course, our average (not counting the two guys who picked Ryan Johnson tonight) was 38.8. That’s rough. - – \> Chris Johnson vs. Pit (no one was gonna pick him) - –\> Shonn Greene vs. Indy (no one did pick him). @ – \> DeMarco Murray vs. Baltimore (no one was gonna pick him) $ – \> Ahmad Bradshaw vs. San Fran (no one was gonna pick him) ---
