Marchand just missed the literally most open net that I have seen this season. Just after 10:00 in the third period, tie game. In possibly related news, I have a huge client presentation at 8am tomorrow; I swear to god, if this game goes to overtime… (Also: the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is the sneaky-awesome sporting event of the year. I watch 50+ Bruins regular season games and another handful of national games every year, and yet somehow - possibly because the playoffs run for six or eight months - I always forget how amazing the first round is. I’ve caught basically every minute of PIT-CBJ, CHI-STL, and BOS-DET, along with a bunch of other games. It’s amazing. You can’t go wrong with changing the channel to a NHL game for this two-week period every year. I can’t believe _anyone_ is watching MLB this early in the season; even the NBA playoffs are a tough sell in comparison.) ---
