Little Caesars Arena is so much more pleasant of an experience than Joe Louis was. I can park at the Fox Theater garage for non-usurious prices and walk 'round the corner to Hockeytown Cafe for dinner (LCA can stuff their concession prices) then walk across the street to the arena. Or park at Harry’s for free (so long as I’m going in for food/drinks) and walk across the street. And no more climbing those steep concrete steps to get into the arena. ---

Joe Louis Arena was a shithole, aye. I haven’t been to the new place to do a show or watch a game, but I know where it is and the new location alone, even if they had magically moved the old building, would be a huge improvement for access and egress. ---

I wish we could’ve traded Matt Hunwick instead of Ian Cole – I don’t know what Rutherford was thinking there. But we’ve got Hornqvist for five more years, so I can’t complain. ---
