Ok…rookie question: Q1. Is the draft separated into three categories (Forwards, Defense, Goalies) which will only be chosen separately, or is any position picked at any point (ex. pick a goalie in the 1st round, a defensemen in the 2nd and a forward in the 3rd, etc.) in the draft? ---

[/QUOTE] No. They are all lumped together. It’s up to you when to take a player. If you take all forwards with your first 8 picks, you will only be allowed to take d-men or goalies beyond that point. If you land a Goalie early, I believe you will not have an option to take another one. (They become greyed out IIRC.) The Yahoo rankings rate the players based on last years totals, so they are a fairly accurate guide as to who the top point getters will be. The key is to avoid injuries. It’s really a crapshoot. ---

The live online draft is set for Sat Sep 22 4:30pm MDT, which is 1 day, 9 hours, and 40 minutes or so from now… We have all 12 spots filled now, but if anyone wants in, please let me know ASAP and I’ll add the spot for you. Good Luck! . ---

Regarding Danja’s extra goalie… It appears I can add an IR or bench spot on the rosters. Or - change it to allow the trade option for everybody… any suggestions on what to do? hmmmm… ---

Edit: I see the waiver option has been opened for one day. If nobody posts an objection by 7:50 Easten Standart Time, I will exchange my goalie for a D man. ---

I just changed the “Max Moves” from ‘No player acquisitions allowed’ to ‘1’. If Danja wants to snag a d man and drop a goalie - it should work. Then I’ll change it back… (I hope.) Danja? You want to try that? ---
