[AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHHHHH](http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=218979&hubname=nhl)!!!

Wow. Nasty luck. I hate to see someone start off in the hole.

We let Danja drop a goalie and pick up a d-man… so…

IF… (And its a big if…)

IF nobody has a problem with it, I would allow you to replace your injured d-man.

If no one says anything in the next day or so, go ahead and replace him.
NOTE: This is only because there have been no games played as of yet.

Anyone losing a player due to injury **beyond this point** will not be allowed to replace him.

If anyone is against it, sorry **dogbutler** , but you will have to keep him.
(He should be back by late November or so…)

Are we all ok with this?
.

Hey guys, just checking in…I was a gambling fool at a casino in Palm Springs on Saturday (and won $830!)and I just came on here to see what I got…not bad, not the best, but I am glad I got Getzlaf in the 3rd round…I believe he’ll be one of the top 5 scorers by the end of the season…other than that, I think I might still end up in the thick of things.

</div>

My vote - for what it’s worth - would be that everyone gets 1 “exchange” for use at any point in the season.

Boyle is only out 4-6 weeks. Somebody else is going to get hit _much worse_, without a doubt.

</div>

Either way, **dogbutler** has a tough call. Boyle [-6 weeks] still might have a better season than anyone else available.

</div>

I would say that at least make “drop dead” date October 2. If one of my players gets injured tonight, I think it’d be silly that I wouldn’t be able to make a replacement but **dogbutler** would. I know there is a game on Saturday but for the sake of ease, I’d ignore it.

I’ll keep him, 4 weeks ain’t too bad. (Famous last words)

I’m casting my vote for that. Of course, **meek** is the comish and if he doesn’t want substitutions, that’s his call. I’ve already used mine so it doesn’t matter much to me but it sounds fair to the rest of the players.

Not a problem. I like the idea that you can replace one injured player at any point in the season.

So… Is this ok with y’all?

I’m ok with it…although maybe a deadline of Feb 29th (or some other date rather than the end of the season) just so there is no last minute antics.

Done. Feb 28th it is.

You only get one move. Make it a good one.

Dump your dog and find a star.
(There are still a lot of very good players that were not drafted.)

Max Moves: 1
Max Trades: 1
Trade Reject Time: 3
Trade End Date: February 28, 2008
Waiver Time: 3 days
Can’t Cut List Provider: None
Trade Review: Commissioner
Post Draft Players: Follow Waiver Rules

I think we are ready.

And… Danja’s Dopers with the first goal of the 2007-2008 season! 2 of them! Way to go, Mike Cammi!

I picked up 12 points last night and took 1st place, I’m looking like a freaking geek genius!

But, I know better…I’m not a genius…just lucky hairy beast.

Got rid of Mara…he played only one game and was never heard from again.

So…Hello my fellow Cup winner, Francois Beauchemin!

Nice to see some of you guys catch up…freaking Cane lovers!

Just for the sake of it, we should do month end standings here to keep the thread bumped up, and to look back to see how we progressed (or in my case, regressed) throughout the season.

Let’s see…

My leading scorer, with 4 points, is Antoine Vermette. I chose Marc Savard over Jason Spezza, knowing full well that Spezza was going to kill me for making that pick(Savard: 2 P, Spezza 10 P). Scott Gomez and Alexander Frolov have a single assist between them.

How on earth has this team gone so wrong?

I see they want money to continue to provide live updates now.

I’m debating doing it. But 10 bucks is 10 bucks, you know? I don’t know if I’m that invested to the point that it’s worth it to me.

Anyone else considering it?

I won’t buy it. You can get the boxscores almost live anyways.

My team sucketh bigtime anyways, maybe I don’t want to know how they’re doing.

When half your team is on IR, you don’t need live updates.
