Wow!!! Great game!!! Will they go to a shoot off for the medal if it stays tied for one period? ---

Great game!!! > > Will they go to a shoot off for the medal if it stays tied for one period? Yeah, if it’s tied after a full period it will go to a shootout. Please hockey gods, don’t let this go to a shootout. ---

> [@Lamar\_Mundane](#): > > Gotta like the young legs of the Americans. That won’t make much difference, I think. The problem is that 4-on-4 really neutralizes both Canada’s forecheck and their cycle game. I hate 4-on-4 OT. ---

I have to say that I’ve ignored the Winter Olympics (except for watching the opening ceremonies) but am watching this game live, which has been great. You can’t imagine a better ending for the Olympics than this. ---

I’m not sure I’d know what to do with a laurel, but I’d sure know what to do with a cold Canadian-brewed beer to celebrate. Cheers, Johnny–thanks!
