On top of that, the goal was illegal and should have been disallowed, and the AHL even admitted it. But there’s nothing they can do about it. ---

I think the Kings are now officially confused. Like, “Wait, there’s a game six?? I thought these were ‘best of five’ series!” 😃 And the first period for the Kings sounded like, “Ding!!!” And later, “Ding!!” Even later, “Ding!!!” Come on, guys. Ya wanna get the puck a smidgen more on the inside of that post. ---

I am going to go out on a limb and say that NJ isn’t going to score three goals on Quick in the last period. The Kings just need to play clean game and not get goaded into any stupid stuff. ---

Queue up Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”. I was able to take him to a couple of Kings games last year when he was more able to, and all three games I took him to, the Kings won. Love you, Gene. ---

As a long-suffering Caps fan… how did it feel LA? From my living room it looked like it felt great. The crowd watching as they walked the Cup around the red carpet was just awesome.
