Fuck yeah! Go Kings! (Next year though…) You totally deserved it. Now comes the sucky part…no hockey until the end of September…☹ My cousin’s wife was at the Pens’ parade in 2009. She got some great pictures. AND Sidney Crosby is about to sign a 10 year deal. WOOHOOO!!! ---

Reading through this thread from the beginning, does it surprise anyone that no one predicted a Kings win to get them to the finals? 🙂 This makes it an even better Cinderella story! But out of all my Kings fans/friends here inL.A., none of them thought about finals either. But then… Shit, somebody make a movie on this! ---

Not nearly as big a risk as letting him go elsewhere, but it’s still a risk. He’s missed a chunk of hockey in the last two seasons, and this may wind up being a bust if he gets one bad check. Bucking all logic Lamoriello has decided to keep this year’s first round pick rather than forfeiting it as part of the penalty for Koval-gate. Considering it’s a pretty weak draft I have to imagine he’s got something up his sleeve, because I really can’t see the reason in keeping it otherwise. ---

How big was the crowd? I know the Kings don’t have as much fans as the Lakers, but was there at least 100k people there? Also, I heard a radio commercial calling the guy “An-zay”, like how its spelled. But is it really pronounced “An-jay”? ---
