Same here, I’ve never seen the boards load so quick in the two odd years I’ve been here! I’m beginning to wonder whether the upgrade actually consists of adding in some weird mutant steroid enhanced super hamsters (or hampsters as the board variety normally seem to be known). grey\_ideas ---

It was deathly slow for me earlier today and took five minutes or more to load a single page but I’m zipping along like wildfire right now. And at 2:00am, which is when the boards are usally down in my timezone. No complaints here. ---

I have not noticed any change on load speeds. Sadly, I use an ISDN. Yes. Yes, I know. However I am 19,234 feet from my CO (central office for you non laymen) so I can not connect with DSL. Cable isn’t available out here in the weeds, and well we live in Texas and it’s pointless to do satellite because of the fucking thunderstorms. So cry me a river and get the fuck in line. ---

**WorldEater and TroyMcClure** Are you trying to get in the SDMB brown-nosing inner circle? I bet in high school, you were hall monitors _and_ always reminded the teacher (30 seconds before the bell), that he forgot to assign that weekend homework assignment. Personally, I think the new server sucks rhino !!! You asked, ‘what good is it to complain, etc?’ Well, this country was founded by a bunch of people that really complained and griped quite a bit. And because of that … awww screw it. I am _very_ happy with the new server and I cannot possibly imagine the untold ecstatic heights of cyber delight when the new server _really_ gets going !! And you know, British rule wasn’t so bad. Anyway WorldEater and TroyMcClure I was just throwing around some “good-natured” kidding your way. (Good-natured by Pit standards !!!) So, feel free to hit back. Then again, it will probably take weeks for your replies to show up because _the new server is so damned slow !!!_ I’m not saying the new server is slow but … They are timing the processor speed with a wall calendar!!
