# Nice try bud, next time use your brother's ID

Conversely, I ordered a “Sprecher” in a pizza place by a local university campus when I was, oh, 12 or so, and the waitress actually asked me if I meant the beer or the root beer. :smack:

About the same age, I ordered _tomato juice_, and the confused waitress brought me a Bloody Mary. I didn’t say anything and my parents (well, Mom) didn’t realize what happened until the bill came. 😃

As a teenager I ordered iced tea at a restauant, and the waitress’ comment was “regular or Long Island?”

I still wonder what would have happened if I said Long Island.

This happened to me before, as an adult though. I ordered a cranberry juice, and the waitress brought a cranberry and vodka.
