I have also heard rumors that Charisma Carpenter’s career has suffered because of substance abuse problems. She was a decent comic actor in the _Buffy_ days and a beautiful woman. ---

Being attacked by a serial rapist and having your friend shot is not easy to move on from. ---

I know nothing about her personal history. I do know that unless you are a marquee actor, you don’t necessarily get a lot of slack from producers if your personal problems get in the way of your work. ---
