I love this thread ! Y’all are so sweet to your pets. My cats were all orphaned, so had 5 kittens to raise at once, and I didn’t think I could keep em, so gave them boring names that just gave their basic looks. I did end up keeping three, so, 7 years later, there is: Gray Kitty, large regal male: Gwayyyyyy, Senator, Himsa (himsa big boyyyyy) Mustache, very petite female, who is a “Kitler”: Stachilator, Miss Muss, Peach Puddin’, Babycat, last one to be dumped in my garage, tiny, filthy, with a slit throat. She’s been patched up, but has an odd lopsided grin, and a weird Jeckyll & Hyde personality. Booba, Boobacar, Miss Bibble when sweet, The Bibble when crazed. ShowerTime Pal, since she likes to jump up on the top of the shower door rail and swat at ya. Rescue cockatiels: Smitty: Mittybird, Mittenheim, Sugar Shoes, OUCH Rodriguez: Murderbird (awful, he was at the shelter because his family was killed in a triple murder) The Dreeg, Weegezz ---

Just a few examples: Mimi is also BFF or Big Fat Fluffy cat Pi is Popeye, Piedle, Pirate, and Darth Boogers Luna is Luna Toons, Lunar and Looney Digit is Digimon, Digipoo and Didgeridoo. Maggie May is Maggot, Magadocious and Magnet and I think we will borrow one of the names here and also call her Stinky Fart Dog. ---

Lilith (the Doberman) is Poopy, Lilzen, or Da Lildebeest. Lloyd (the gray cat) is Lloydus, Lloydapuss, or Lardapuss. Bruno (the brown cat) is usually You Nasty Little Piece of Shit. (said with affection, of course!) ---

These are so funny and cute! My 3-1/2 yr old black Lab Lucy - Lucybelle, LucyGoosey, Shadow, LuluBelle, Girly-girl (when she lies down with her front legs crossed all prissy-like), Piggy-dog (she eats like a horse!) My 2-1/2 yr old Bichon Ernie - Ernie Bernie, The Ernster, The Flying Burrito Brother, Sir Bernard of Clodine (our neighborhood), my little fluffy-wuffy one, my little fuzzy-wuzzy one, and Chiki - he used to be owned by the Hispanics down the street and that was his name then. Maxwell we call Maximilian . Sam is Sammy Sneed and Cassie is The Cassinator. They answer to each of their nicknames and I have no idea how they all began. I had to goggle who the heck Sammy Sneed was because the name stuck somehow and I figured it must be someone of importance. ---

Mine are Brewster (black Lab), also known as Black Dog (in honor of the Zeppelin tune, of course), Brew, Brewski, Bruiser, Brucifer (rhymes with Lucifer), and sometimes, just Bruce. Daisy (large white dog of undetermined breed, sorta looks like Dennis the Menace’s dog, Ruff), also called Crazy Daisy, Lazy Daisy, Dizzy Daisy, Dazed and Confused (another Zep reference) and, when I have to drive her anywhere, then of course she’s Miss Daisy. ---

Both dogs are refered to as: Knothead Buckethead Fuzz Butt Sh\*thead Moron The white male is known as The Big White Doorbell for his habit of barking when he wants in the house. The female is oft refered to as Satan. ---

Ki is Ki Ki, Nebula goes by Nebbie, or the pronunciation they use at guide dogs Neb-oooo-la (which they called her when she graduated.) But besides that Ki is Puppy D. Dog, or Mr. Puppy Boy Gentleman (after a dog in Uncle Wiggly.) Nebbie is Puppy Girl. At time they both are Dumb Dog. ---

We have 2 cats. See if you can guess which one is overweight. **Atlas** - Fatty, Fatty McGee, Puff, Puffy, Puff Pastry, Fat Cat, The Fat One. **Hermes** - Herms, The Bad One. Hmm, guess we’ve been neglecting Hermes. Must come up with more names for him. And of course my wife calls them “My Boys” and I will occasionally refer to them as “The Boys”. ---

We add “bear” to everyone’s name - ie: Kitty-bear, Annie-bear, Allie-bear, etc. Annie also goes by “The Big One” and “Bruiser”. Allie also goes by “The Little One”. St. Peter the Patron Saint of Chaos usually goes by “Petey” or “Pete Pete”. Jasper we add “cat” to his name - like we’re unsure that you know he’s a cat… Little Bit? We just call Bit. We’re sooooo original (except for Pete Pete’s original name - that was pretty good if I say so myself). ---

We have a 90-lb yellow Lab named Daisy and a Yorkie-shi-tsu mix named Cocoa. For Daisy, my favorite names are Daisy-butt because when you start to pet here, she immediately turns her butt to you so you can scratch it, and Lazy Daisy because all she ever does is sleep. Cocoa is called Coco Puff because, well, it just fits. ---

My yellow lab has quite a few nicknames, most of them insulting. Fatass, whore, slut, fatty-fat-fattington, and the like. Occasionally I’ll throw in a “pretty girl” just to confuse the poor thing. ---
