# Night of the attack of the bride of the "Law & Order" spinoffs

So I read that there’s going to be a new “Law & Order” spinoff called “Criminal Intent.” It’s apparently going to be written from the point of view of the criminals. I ask only this: HOW MUCH MORE LAW AND ORDER DO WE NEED? I mean, I **adore** “Law & Order.” I tend to end my waking day with the 3 a.m. showing of a rerun on A&E (I work second shift). I’ve never really watched “Special Victims Unit,” but the episodes I’ve seen aren’t bad. Will the spinoffs never end? Is there going to be a day in the future when NBC shows nothing but “Law & Order” and its spinoffs?

I like SVU, and I like the original Law and Order, so I have no problem with a new spinoff. They’ve already shown they do a good job, and I’m sure the original series is about to reach retirement age. The only gripe I have is that there are too many people with husky voices in the original series - the last season before Adam left, you had the three people in the DA’s office, all sounding like they gargle gravel.
