I beg to differ. [An article on three-day eventing at the Olympics](http://summerolympicgames.suite101.com/article.cfm/eventing_equestrian_triathlon). [The 2008 US team](http://www.horsechannel.com/horse-news/2008/07/15/olympic-three-day-eventing-team.aspx). The UK team would have included Zara Phillips, the daughter of the Princess Royal (who competed in the 1976 Olympics) but Ms Phillips’s horse suffered an injury and had to be withdrawn. ---

For number 9, I put _Appearances_ as a film by Alfred Hitchcock. The [IMDB](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0011929/) doesn’t credit him, but the film is included in his filmography on [Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Hitchcock_filmography). ---

Man, I had no idea the whole “no, Suriname is NOT in Africa” thing was so well-thought-out here. Okay, for question 6, I put “The Audience” (there was a slight typo, but it was obvious what I meant). I didn’t see it on the list of answers, so was that unacceptable? I’ve never seen Laugh-In, but I was taking a good educated guess that it was filmed with an audience and they would appear audibly if not visibly too on the show. Or maybe cuz the audience isn’t one specific person? ---

Note the last word of the url of [this page.](http://en.beijing2008.cn/sports/) Thus, the only acceptable answers to the question “Name a 2008 (summer) Olympic sport” should have been the sports (including “modern pentathlon”) listed in the three columns on that page. Or, to be even nitpickier, the sports listed on [this page](http://www.olympic.org/uk/sports/index_uk.asp) (where, for example, “Gymnastics” encompasses “Gymnastics Artistic” and “Gymnastics Rhythmic”). Each sport features several events, which can be as similar as the men’s 50-meter freestyle and women’s 50-meter freestyle in aquatics (swimming) or the men’s discus and women’s marathon in athletics. These events are included in the “actual sports”, but are NOT the actual sports themselves. ---
