This is going to be a bitch to score, eh?
Maybe not too bad. All answers that are “pass” will be changed to the most popular. All answers that are wrong will be changed to the most popular.
The hard part will be deciding what a wrong answer is, if it’s not blatant. Lots of research.
Yes, lord.
If this helps with your research:
Check #24–listed as a “regular performer” on Laugh-In in 1968.
He was one of the stars. Him and Ruth Buzzy did a lot together.
I doubt anyone will have a perfect 10 because there are more than 7 players and # 3 only has 4 possible answers, each of which appears in more than one post.
…and?
I think we broke Dolores and her fact checking team.
I’m working on it. Scores will be up soon. (I’ve had a busy day running errands.)
Patience, grasshoppers.
Disclaimer:
This was a particularly hard Feud to score. Thanks so much to 5-4-Fighting for his extremely helpful research. The Olympics question was very broad, and many answers could be construed as general categories instead of specific events. Only 2 answers for #8 were considered to be wrong, athletics and three day eventing. These were changed to “non-relevant,” because I had a 4-way tie for most popular answer, and I couldn’t figure out how to add them to one popular answer.
So – all scores are final! And we won’t try this experiment again for a while, without thinking it out better.
Without further adieu, the answers:

Whoo! thanks, this one was fun, guys.
And here I thought I was being so clever with some of my answers!
Who’d have thought three people would pick “The Manxman”? I just pulled up a list of Hitchcock pictures and picked one at random!
7 rutabagas, indeed!
sigh
Thanks! Maybe I’ll do better on the next one.
I just knew I was going to do well in this one.
My best Feud score ever!
Thanks Dolores and 5-4 Fighting.
I suck at original thinking, congrats Omniscient, I guess this means you really are.
Well, I was just about dead last in the other Least Popular answer feud so I figure the jury is still out.
Can I ask why you consider three-day eventing to be a wrong answer? It is a single competition with three disciplines which aggregate to determine the winner.
The whole scoring on that category seems a little odd. Personally, I’d have grouped all the similar answers. “weightlifting” and “womens weightlifting” wouldn’t have separate answers, nor would “shooting”, “25m Men’s Rapid-Fire Pistol”, “Air rifle”, “Pistol shooting”, “Double Trap”, “Trap Shooting”, nor “Greco-Roman Wrestling” and “wrestling”.
But, then again I won so what do I care!
I’m at the top of the bottom! YES! Distinction!
I’ll let Dolores Reborn explain the final scoring because she’s the one who did that part of the work.
However, in my research, I used the official Beijing 2008 Olympics website (here). There were general categories listed on the homepage, but if you click on those links there are specific names for the subcategories of actual sports (men’s and women’s). However, “three day eventing” is not listed and wouldn’t necessarily suggest an easily discernible specific sport.
We both apologize because, again, this was not well thought out. Although the scoring is final, I welcome posts, PMs or email queries about why the scores were decided the way they were so that this will have been a learning experience for this type of thread in the future, which is a fun one.
Again, we were trying to be fair to everyone in the middle of this mess and even I lost out with “modern pentathlon.” I hope everybody remembers we’re trying to have fun and to not take the analysis/scoring personally. I also thank DR for her hard work because she was a trooper putting up with my nudnickness, nitpicks, and numerous PMs, phone calls and emails.
