[/QUOTE] A great book, but IIRC, while Luke and Leia end the book closer than they were before, they’re still not lovers. And Vader is defeated but not killed; Luke senses his presence through the Force even after the battle is over. But yes, coming out as it did between _A New Hope_ and _The Empire Strikes Back_, it contradicts a lot of later SW canon. ---
