Anyone else seen this cool new ad? I just saw it for the first time. It features a half-dozen athletes, and shows highlights of them playing sports other than the ones they are famous for. Ones I can think of: Randy Johnson bowling (hilarious…) Michael Vick and Urlacher (sp?) playing hockey Marion Jones doing gymnastics Serena Williams playing Volleyball There were at least 2 more that I know I should be able to think of. It’s a great ad, the kind of ad that should’ve premiered during the Super Bowl. I’ve always liked Nike ads. They’re always original. I just hope they have more ads to elaborate on this same theme. ---

I’m glad you wrote this OP. I saw the ad but I had no idea who any of the people were so I didn’t understand the premise was having atheletes in different sports. It makes much more sense now. ---

It makes much more sense now. Yeah, it was subtle. A few times they only showed the name in the background, or had someone saying it vaguely. Most of the people I only recognized from the face. There was also someone playing baseball, which a name I missed. He seemed very familiar. I’m sure someone will chime in soon with the name. For some reason I love the idea of Lance Armstrong boxing… ---
