Things like the Tomahawk Chop aren’t as popular as you might think. What do Cowboys fans do? Patriots? Packers? Raiders? ---

Yeah, those types of things are more limited to college sports. I can’t think of an equivalent for most NFL teams. Redskins fans will sing Hail to the Redskins but there’s really no physical action they do. Packers fans have the Cheesehead but I don’t think there’s a song or anything else related to it. ---

As college students at the University of Kansas, a group of us came up with the “Jayhawk Squawk”. You’d put one hand up by your face, sticking out like a bird beak, and the other hand behind your butt, sticking out like tail feathers. Then you’d stomp your feet back and forth while emitting a loud squawk. For some reason, it never caught on… ---

I can only think of a few similar examples - Washington Nationals fans did the baby shark thing last season because one of their players starting using it as his walkup music. He’s not longer on the team (he went to Japan to play) so it remains to be seem if they’ll continue it. They got a lot better just after the started doing it, so maybe they should. Fans of the University of Texas have a gesture where they extend the index and pinky fingers This is intended to mimic the school mascot, a longhorn cow. ---
