While looking through the Seattle Post-Intelligencer’s website, I found [this item](http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/earcandy/archives/139359.asp) . Apparently, a rumor has been sweeping the Seattle music scene that Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl will play Sub Pop record’s 20th anniversary party–with Courtney Love as their frontwoman :eek: ! The article shows many people believe it’s a fake, but it’s still a fascinating idea. I’m torn between dread and excited myself. What do you think? ---

I can’t imagine this being true, considering that Dave Grohl and Courtney Love seem to absolutely hate each other. Courtney may need the money and publicity, but Dave doesn’t. I hope its a rumor. ---

They’ve been in legal battles over one thing or another for years, they’ve publicly come out as hating each other, and didn’t Dave Grohl try to force CL to get committed or something? And yeah, Dave Grohl is doing pretty well for himself. I can see him wanting to do a tribute thing; I can’t imagine any reason he’d involve Love. ---
