Brezhnev was a mammal? Man, to think of all the time me and my sister wasted watching the news while thinking he was a robot and trying to see the hatch where the batteries went in.

I remember some comedian - maybe it was Johnny Carson? - saying that Breznhev left a trail of sawdust wherever he went (or was wheeled).

It’s a good sight gag, and I appreciate it (or I wouldn’t have started this thread), but showing an anonymous nursing mother and her child would’ve been more… demonstrative, I guess. Or appropriate. Whatever.
