Yeah, but it’s the delivery.
Dang, I knew I forgot something! :smack: What can I say, Jerry’s so forgettable.
Okay, stick him at the bottom of all the lists, Chevy Chase blunders aside, I can’t recall him doing anything even half as controversial as Carter’s “men lust in their hearts” biz.

I had a long diatribe/rant at some folks who were members of Nixon, Reagan and Bush '41 and Bush '43 (chimpy)
I included Colin Powell - a guy I once totally respected and trusted - despite what he wrote in his 1995 book (Zippo-torching of Vietnam villages in 1963, Caspar Weinbergers right-hand man yet out-of-the-loop WRT Iran/Contra).
I trusted Colin Powell when he went before the United Nations and after playing weird radio intercepts, and far-off pictures of tractor-trailers, he held up a vial of some vile poison. "This much stuff, he warned, ‘is enough to bring The Bronx up and the Battery down!’
Colin Powell is a liar - a tool of the Bush Cartel. That really, really sucks. If I weren’t already so cynical, you all would feel my loss of innocence.
The current Bush Cartel has poisoned the well of Democracy. Maybe it started back with Newt in 1994. Yet think forward some fifty years - this Bush Cartel will have adversely affected the USA far more than any other President. Indeed, I wonder if there will ever be another President. ominous music
The Unelected Fraud/Chimpy met the Queen of England once before. This is back when Poppy was President. This tale is going all’round the British (and Indian) Press:
Well, there was that pardoning Nixon thing. But it’s hard to stay mad at Gerald.
So, how old is Jeb Bush.
Right you are, guv! Byootiful plumage! But 'e’s all shagged out from pining for the Fords.
And there, with 'im? Isn’t that a Gross Canard?
How can we be in
if there is no outside?

Not sure, old cock. Difficult to make 'im out clearly in this false dawn.
On a vaguely serious point, one possible benefit from having leaders such as Bush is that they politicise a fresh generation of youth. Well, some of it, enough of it; leaders abuse the democratic process, youth reacts/responds, perhaps its all part of a natural symmetry.
How did you get to be so politically aware ?
Karma. Peace and dandruff.
Indeed Corbomite, taught 'em all they knew.
Turned 18 in 1966, hence, eligible. Kinda brought things into focus.
Maybe that’s why this whole thing has a ghastly sense of deja puke.
Chalk it up to his Dope habit:
From an interview with Paul Krugman
According to my liberal thought-control yogurt maker, if Krugman said it, it’s true.
Still, GW “Johnny Chimpo” Bush seems too oblivious to be evil. He’s like Jar Jar Binks to Cheney’s Palpatine (sorry, couldn’t resist).
Can we qualify the debate, and say that Bush has the most evil administration, while Nixon himself was the most evil pres.?
No, sorry, that’s not allowed.
I’m willing to go with 'possum stalker and say that Dubya has the most evil administration. I would say that Reagan and Nixon tie for most evil prez, however.
While Cheney bothers me, I have a bigger beef with Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, and Rove. There’s the Four Horsemen right there – Ashcroft sickens me with his iron-fisted ways, Rove is completely full of shit, and Rumsfeld is an asshole.
If you want to have a go at Rumsfeld, read Frank Johnson’s blog that satirizes life in the white house and potrays Rummy the wat we all imagine him…
scroll down and look for the ‘in my world’ posts…go in the archives as well and dig them all up, its so outragesouly funny
Ditto what Andros_X says. George W. Bush isn’t half as scary without having those guys feed him his bullshit lines to the rest of the world.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: George W. is such an amiable and folksy guy, he’d make a great greeter at Wal-Mart. The problem is that he isn’t there now…
I agree with the Nixon #1 ranking (even though evil is a bit overboard) but for differing reasons. Under the RMN administration:[ul]
[li]Automatic cost of living adjustments for entitlements[/li][li]Wage & Price Controls - Which led to stagflation[/li][li]Social spending increased 240% [/li][li]Federal regulation increase of 120%[/li][li]Racial Quotas - Whic contributed to a setback in race relations[/li][li]Pissing in the face of Taiwan[/li][li]Leaving SE Asia in ruins - Can you say Khmer Rouge?[/ul] [/li]
Gonna move him to 4th now?
