I had a long diatribe/rant at some folks who were members of Nixon, Reagan and Bush '41 and Bush '43 (chimpy)

I included Colin Powell - a guy I once totally respected and trusted - despite what he wrote in his 1995 book (Zippo-torching of Vietnam villages in 1963, Caspar Weinbergers right-hand man yet out-of-the-loop WRT Iran/Contra).

I trusted Colin Powell when he went before the United Nations and after playing weird radio intercepts, and far-off pictures of tractor-trailers, he held up a vial of some vile poison. "This much stuff, he warned, ‘is enough to bring The Bronx up and the Battery down!’

Colin Powell is a liar - a tool of the Bush Cartel. That really, really sucks. If I weren’t already so cynical, you all would feel my loss of innocence.

On a vaguely serious point, one possible benefit from having leaders such as Bush is that they politicise a fresh generation of youth. Well, some of it, enough of it; leaders abuse the democratic process, youth reacts/responds, perhaps its all part of a natural symmetry.

I’m willing to go with 'possum stalker and say that Dubya has the most evil administration. I would say that Reagan and Nixon tie for most evil prez, however.

While Cheney bothers me, I have a bigger beef with Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, and Rove. There’s the Four Horsemen right there – Ashcroft sickens me with his iron-fisted ways, Rove is completely full of shit, and Rumsfeld is an asshole.
