It was just a mildly funny sitcom that seemed to catch the zeitgeist and achieve popularity beyond its actual merit. In the meantime nobody noticed that it had gone from being mildly funny to complete shite. I for one welcome the news that it never existed. ---

That’s not a new concept. Perhaps the scientific idea is new, but the concept isn’t.
