No DOOM III this year (:() according to this [news feed](http://bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=43062). Damn. I think this is a bad move for id Software. Half Life 2 is going to have the entire last qtr. of this year to become people’s favorite game, and with all the advancements we’ve seen so far on the HL2 engine it will probably make us look at DOOM III and go, “Meh.” ---

I bet they are just doing this so they can be 100% sure that everyone in the world will have to buy a new video card to play it. ---

But **Lobsang** , you don’t want to miss out on HL2 when it comes out. Oh, and Tron 2.0 is gold and should be out in a week or two, so that’s one to consider.
