I’m a single guy, living in the Washington DC area. I’m a pretty average guy, decent job. Usually by date two, there is a strong offering of sex. God forbid I don’t’ jump on the chance. It’s like a killed her dog or something. An observation or two:
Men have be trained since we have been 15 that we’ll get turned down for sex a lot. We are supposed to act like we are happy about this. Don’t get the least upset. But be generally pleased that we were even given the opportunity to ask.
Women believe that when they want sex, it will be available. A man not dare turn down offered sex. If you do, run quickly in the opposite direction.
This might be the last double standard to ever fall.

Paul’s date sounds like an idiot, and there’s no need for harsh words just because someone is turned down for sex. But there’s nothing wrong with fucking on the first date, and someone who doesn’t isn’t morally superior to someone who does.
You’re saying it was a planned ‘ambush’ because she had arranged for her son to stay elsewhere. So what?
I don’t mean to have a go, and there was definitely no excuse for the way she behaved, but wanting sex on the first date doesn’t say anything about the person other than that s/he wants sex.
