# No, I'm not going to sue

Man, in the good old USA, this accident would be worth north of $100,000! Course, your lawyers would take 30-50%.  
The first rule is :shut up! Don’t say anything (without your lawyer present).  
With the right lawyer, you could retire on this!

Lawyer once told me that pain and suffering is = to how much money would they have to pay you to go through it again.

Glad it’s worked out, but I will sound this cautionary note: “…and I’ll also cover any other medical costs that may come up” is the kind of vague promise that might lead to litigation down the road if, God forbid, you have further health issues and he balks when you come back to him. I’ve had similar cases come before me. Just a thought.
