On behalf of the ACLU, the femininsts, and the gay and lesbian population of the Eastern Seaboard, I’d just like to apologize for the failure of “God’s veil of protection” to materialize, despite the Rev. Robertson’s earnest prayers that his multimillion conduit for Liberian mining profits be spared. Our bad, sorry. ---

High on the Hog had just been released and Jim Dandy was still a hit. It was my first concert. Oh, and I’m betting Pat Robertson does not approve of them. ---

And the study might go something like this… 1. Incident of “Oh my God” after flyind debris hits head: Estimate somewhere between 1,500,000 – 2,000,000 (Data points confusing as several researchers were lost in freak wind gusts, storm surges, and tornados) 2. “Please, God, help me.” 3,000,000+ (please note above proviso). 3. “Oh, Lord, what am I doing here” … [and scene] 😃 ---
