**Moderating:** The ongoing discussion about Trump’s Flag Day Parade is becoming a hijack, since this is the “No Kings” rally thread. > [@Was the attendance at the June 14 USA Parade lower than hoped for?](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/was-the-attendance-at-the-june-14-usa-parade-lower-than-hoped-for/1019663): > > I wasn’t sure how to phrase this question. Many liberal news sites and I think quite a few mainstream middle-ground ones are suggesting or stating that the parade was a flub. Was it? I don’t know what was expected, but I assume they were hoping for huge crowds. All I ever see are some wide shots that might have been from before the parade fully started. What is the Straight Dope on the attendance at the parade? Again, I don’t have a number in mind; I really just want to know if it is fake new… Is the most direct match, though it’s in FQ, alternately > [@Military birthday parades](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/military-birthday-parades/1017905/53): > > So how many of them ended up attending? Would be another appropriate thread in P&E, or of course, you can spin off your own in the forum you think most appropriate for this argument. _This is just a guidance, not a warning. Nothing on your permanent record._ --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/no-kings-rallies-saturday-june-14th-2025/1019268)._
