# No longer auto-subscribed to threads I post in?

More or less what the title says. I used to always be auto-subscribed to threads I posted in, which was useful since then when I came back to the board I could just pull up my subscribed thread list to remember what I’d done last time I was here.

But lately it has only been subscribing me to some of the threads I reply to. If there’s a pattern to which ones I get subscribed to and which ones I don’t, I can’t figure it out. Did I accidentally hit an option or something that changed the behavior of autosubscribing?

(and to answer the obvious question, my “Default Thread Subscription Mode” is “No email notification”).

Try resetting it and see what happens. Dunno why your settings would drift but weirder things have happened.
