# No longer fighting Ignorance, now encouraging it.

Since when is “annoying” behavior worth a warning? Does not Shodan put “regards” after every post, even tho it’s been said by many, many posters it’s annoying as fuck?

Many other posters only post annoying shit, but as long as they dont violate the rules, they arent warned.

\*\*There is no violation of the rules here. \*\*You can’t just say: “I find this annoying so WARNING!”.

And it’s NOT the same as what I was previously Noted about. And, in fact, even tho I find the habit of “using a past character’s name to refer to a role played by the same actor” annoying (and many others hate it too) apparently it’s not annoying to _you_, so it’s OK.

So, being annoying or pedantic _is not against the rules_. If it were, you’d have to issue a hundred warnings a day. Nor was I deliberately being annoying. Pedantic, sure. Bad joke- OK.

The pop-under ads here on the SDMB, the ads that I got to see even tho I am a paid subscriber are also “annoying” but you guys are unwilling to do anything about them, either.

When a moderator has instructed you to stop it.

Like **IvoryTowerDenizen** , I do not believe you genuinely don’t understand why you were warned. At this point you are essentially trolling by pretending that you really have a question about it.

This is an abuse of the function of ATMB. Considering this, I’m closing this thread. Do not start another thread on the topic. Do not continue the behavior you were warned about.
