Isn’t down with what? You breast-feeding while the kid’s getting the shots? 😕 /As an aside, I typo’d that as “bread-feeding” and then though … well, maybe doc would be OK with bread? **Minor whine** : I woke up with a persistent twitch in my top eyelid. Hours later, and it’s \*still \*there! Gawddayum but that’s annoying. **Major whine** : I’m moving next week. I have a LOT of packing and sorting yet to do, downsizing into a 1-bedroom and whatnot, and I’m tired of it all. (Hm m m … stress/tiredness might have something to do with that eye … ) Luckily, my next-door-neighbor mentioned wanting to hold a yard sale this upcoming weekend. Me: “Oh, I have a TON of stuff to sell off!” This will be good: instead of me breaking my back to load stuff to the Goodwill truck, people will be coming to ME, and maybe even giving me MONEY, for the unique privilege of hauling away my stuff. OK, thumbs up! But. My parents are going to come by sometime this week to help me. I appreciate the help - really, I couldn’t \*physically \*do all this myself - but we’re going to have major, um, disagreements about what I should keep and what I should sell. And for how much … I still can’t believe how fast this all happened, but now that it’s started, I just want it all to be OVER WITH so I can, I dunno, relax and play with the kittehs after work, instead of boxing and sorting and throwing away things I’d kinda like to keep. Not to mention: the combined CD collection. Ye gods. We kept them separate for years after we got together because we joked what a major PITA it would be to sort them back out again. Well, now the joke’s on me :smack: and I’m runnin’ out of time. And long ago ran out of energy, both mental and physical. - eyelid twitch \* ---

I get the persistent eye-twitch from stress, so yeah, that probably has something to do with it. 🙂 Can you tell your parents to be supportive rather than combative in this difficult time for you? I don’t really understand why they don’t know this already, but maybe they need a reminder. ---

My roomie just walked in, grumping. She was laid down for a nap when some Republican looking for a vote called her. \*\*She just told me she told them that she was going to find a random Democrat and vote for them just because they called her \*\*[and to stop calling her] 😛 ---

I am way more cranky than I should be that someone misread my message to them and responded completely wrongly. Now I have to respond back, correcting their mistake, and possibly end up looking like a jerk for correcting them. Why can’t people pay better attention to detail? ---

Good point. It should be pretty obvious that x \> y (which eliminates three of the five answers), but that x is not exactly twice y (which eliminates a fourth). ---

And for how much … > > . . . I know that you know this, but if you’re having to move fast, how much things sell for is irrelevant. What you need is to have a certain amount of stuff gone. I’m sure you’re going to be a good daughter and give them good deals on anything on your to-go-list that they might be interested in. If you try to sell things for too much you risk being stuck leaving them on the curb with FREE signs. Assuming that even works in your area. Here’s hoping that the garage sale goes really well. ---

Moving always sucks. ALWAYS! Your move is worse than most, PHS. You have my sympathy and I hope the yard sale goes well. When I moved, I did a yard sale. It didn’t suck, but while I did want to get money for my stuff, mostly I just wanted strangers to make it go away. What was left went to St Vincent’s. We have a new litter with mama. They all seem to be healthy and bright eyed and aren’t sneezing. They were vetted before they came to us a week ago. Lucky started sneezing on Saturday and seems to be losing weight. Tonight everyone got fancy feast and Lucky left half of his in the bowl. Everytime he sneezes I remind him that going to the vet means he’s going to get his temp taken, but he just doesn’t seem to be listening to me. Kitteh anal probe will happen tomorrow at 2 pm. News at 7. OK, I’m lieing about that. Our vet uses an ear thingy, but I can hope that my threats will help, right?
