I used to read that site daily. It was my first stop on my tour-o-humour. Then they stopped updating regularly, and fell days, weeks, over a month behind. By the time they picked it up again with weekly updates of a week’s worth of content, I had moved on. However, the M_A_S_H_ reference at the end of their goodbye blurb is enough for me to miss all of the years of comedy. ---

They’re keeping Self Made Critic and Ratings, and there will also be future Bandwidth Theatre - all on separate sites. The archives will remain on the main [brunching.com](http://brunching.com) page. This is sad for me, because the Brunching Shuttlecocks got me into this whole talking to people on the internet thing. But it wasn’t unexpected: updates have been few and far between for a long time. ---

I was really only a fan of Lore’s ratings but I was a huge fan of that. I’ve ruined more than one keyboard from spit-takes reading those things. My favorite recent one was “phone features” though the earliest ones are the best.
