Wow, I must be the only one here who hates the new name. “One World Trade Center”? Sounds like globalization gone rabid. ---

But if it’s just the street number, that makes it a little better… but still, if it were up to me, I think the infinitely trite “Freedom” is an infinitely better label than the arrogantly defiant “all your trade are belong to us” old-new name. Be glad it ain’t up to me. ---

It’s not what I would have preferred be done with the site and it sure wasn’t my favorite of the designs, but now, they’re giving it a name that reflects the fact that it’s an office building and doesn’t sound like the headquarters for the Ministry of Truth.
