# No need for "Spammer Reported Posts" in Discourse. Please do flag them, but please don't bother with the post in thread

I’ve actually been banned from a board because TPTB there thought I was a spammer. I did manage to get reinstated but they eventually gave up on keeping spam away and pulled the plug after months of nothing but spam.

I moved this here. I’m trying to get the word out that there is no need for the Reported posts in Discourse. That was a vBulletin thing.

Also that crack you made was inappropriate for anywhere but the Pit. No warning but please refrain.
