Yeah, the only way I can access this thread is to click on it from the SDMB main page. The thread disappears when I go to ATMB. Weird. ---

Been getting signed out just about every time I click on anything. Super annoying. Used to experience this frequently but this is the first time in a while. ---

Are the servers slow? Or for some reason are people just not posting? Is there a major outage somewhere? Many posters dealing with fallout from the hurricane in Texas? ---

I don’t get logged out, but the quote function was not working for some time this morning. I would get the “reply” box, but the post I was quoting does not show up. And this thread does not show up on the ATMB page. I only got here via the link in the thread that got closed. ---

For me, this thread shows up on the ATMB page intermittently – sometimes it’s there, sometimes it isn’t. The system appeared to be offline briefly perhaps for a reboot, but this particular weirdness seems to persist. ---

Last night, the GQ page was listing a thread as having only two replies, even though it had more. The thread itself showed them, and reloading fixed the forum page. I’d assumed that it was on my end, but maybe not. ---

If I go to a page like [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?f=7](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?f=7) I see no thread updates in the last 7 hours. I click refresh and may get a more up-to-date record. So far, very normal. BUT, if I continue to click refresh, about every 4th time or so I get the seven-hour-old display back! It’s as though a stale cache is occasionally substituted. ---
