Okay, to be fair, an awful lot of men say the same thing, but it’s more often qualified: “I just wish they had a singer I could listen to, because those guys can play!” I spend a lot of time on YouTube, and one interesting thing I’ve noticed is that shredding female guitarists, drummers, and bassists are still such a novelty that the titles on the videos they post will almost always point out that it’s a girl doing it. ---
