Some male ski jumpers may be injecting hyaluronic acid to bulk up down there. Apparently the crotch part of the suit is one of the most important areas in generating lift, and every little bit helps.

Yes, and the shotput, discus and javelin have different specifications, but they are the essentially the same events. If there was a women’s decathlon, I wouldn’t want them to use the same hurdles that the men use.
