No salt/low salt tips and tricks.

Dilute your salad dressings with vinegar. Check the bottle first, though, some vinegars are salted. Rice wine vinegar is notorious for this. There are so many different vinegars available, though, you can keep experimenting until you find the right vinegar to dilute your dressings. The extra ZING from the vinegar is a bonus, too!

As for not caring for water: put a bit of your juice in a serving of water. The watermelon juice is great for that! Just a tablespoon or two of juice can really give a lot of flavor. Then, of course, a squeeze of lemon or lime is always good. Try a twist of citrus peel, also, to release the oils in the peel.

And flavored ice cubes are wonderful in water! You can put a small piece of fruit (lemon, lime, orange, tangerine) in each cube, fill with water and freeze. Sliced strawberries are wonderful. And I found that sliced cucumber makes delightful ice cubes! Drinking water will be fun!

Okay so I added 1/8 tsp of onion powder, 1/8 tsp garlic powder, 1/8 tsp ground white pepper, to the 1/4 tsp salt, ground it all to a fine powder and it’s pretty awesome. It really extends the amount of salt flavor once it’s a powder, so you’re not using as much, but get a good taste hit!.
