I am so proud to be from Kentucky. [It was announced today that the people behind the Creation Museum are planning a fun and educational Noah’s Ark theme park.](http://www.governor.ky.gov/pressrelease.htm?PostingGUID=%7B415A07EF-4E0F-488A-AC63-62B43F44385F%7D) I can’t deny that I would be tempted to go. I would like to see an ark built according to Biblical specs, and see how all the animals would fit. I would like to see awesome, high-budget versions of all kinds of settings, both mythical and historical. I just don’t like seeing one presented as the other. I hate when we Kentuckians are stereotyped as ignorant yokels, but we’re not helping. ---

That actually looks like it could be interesting. As long as it is well-done. I wonder whether they hired anyone from Disney or one of the major special-effects houses to design the attractions? I wonder who they’ll have checking on the accuracy of the middle-eastern village reconstruction? And it has a _5_-D theatre! ---

Maybe this time, on the Ark, they’ll let the food chain work its magic: they’ll have: [ul] [li]bugs, eaten by [/li][li]amphibians, eaten by[/li][li]birds, eaten by[/li][li]reptiles, eaten by[/li][li]monkeys, eaten by[/li][li]creationists, eaten by[/li][li]gorillas[/li][/ul] and then Kentucky’s reputation might move up a few notches. I must also note that the organizers are hoping to use tax incentives to build this thing… ---

Dudes, religious-themed theme parks are as old as the [Ozarks.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_of_the_Ozarks) They all seem to [fail.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heritage_USA) I am sorry that is the case, but it is in fact the case. Just skip the drama and move directly to Chapter Eleven. ---

The biggest religious theme park is in the middle of Rome, and that’s been there for ages.
