Even if we were to take the devil’s advocate position that any peace in Gaza would be an improvement, and Trump should be rewarded for it, it simply hasn’t happened. Right now we have - what does he call it? Hints of an inkling of an idea of a plan? I hope it works, but it’s just too soon to say. ---

Look, he said he’d end the war in Ukraine in one day. Gaza is a little more complicated, so it’s gonna be two weeks on that one. Of course, it’s unclear when the clock actually starts with either of these, so c’mon, man, give the guy a chance here! ---

If Trump had been awarded the prize, it might as well have been abolished, as it would have lost all meaning and respect. Everything Trump touches dies. This does refer to the Nobel Prize too. ---

The prize is pretty tainted – Obama didn’t deserve it when he won it. He seemed to have won it because he was the first Black president of the US and he wasn’t GWB. Didn’t Kissinger win it? That guy was, if anything, anti-peace. But, the idea that Trump, who routinely threatens to invade sovereign land, is sending troops into his own cities, and who is hell-bent on destroying the environment would ever get it is ludicrous. I can’t believe MAGA thought he had a chance. That statement from the White House Communications Director is really something out of a cult. Scary stuff. ---
